CSRBC Cocker Spaniel Rescue ...one dog at a time

Our goal is to help combat the ongoing problem of homeless cocker spaniels. Our volunteers network with other rescue organizations, veterinarians, animal shelters and trainers in order to ensure the health and well being of each dog entering our rescue.

CSRBC is desperate for Donations

We are getting low in funds due to the influx of dogs with medical issues. Simba, just appeared to have diarrhea and we have stumped many vets. His bills are adding up.

We have brought in some expensive senior dogs that had nowhere else to go.

Cisco arrived today from a local Animal Control. He is very elderly and we had to have some necessary work done on him.

Please find it in your heart to donate any amount via the Canada Helps button. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The dogs thank you.

Without your help, we can’t do this.Foster homes are the life blood of any dog rescue and CSRBC desperately needs help in this area. Most times we can’t tell you how long it would be. Some dogs are only in care for a couple of months, some for much longer. Some dogs need medical care, some dogs need to learn to trust again. All of them need love.

I won’t lie. Fostering is one of the hardest things you will ever do. You are expected to bring a dog into your home, teach it manners, feed it, show it love and then when the time comes, you help it move into a new and forever home. Our hearts break every single time that we let a dog leave our care. But we do it because there are other dogs needing us.

So if you can open your heart and your home, please let us know. CSRBC will provide all food and vet care. We also have the assistance of a trainer, if it becomes necessary. Please contact us at for a foster application. The gift you receive is in knowing that you have helped save a life.

We do our very best to place the right dog in the right home to ensure the continued happiness of both the dog and the owner.

We continue to provide ongoing advice and ongoing support to our adoptive families and other Cocker Spaniel owners.

CSRBC takes in dogs mostly from SPCAs and Animal Shelters. If a dog comes to us from an owner, they must provide vet documents in their name. CSRBC does NOT condone the theft of animals.
